its not of iron. Some powdered thing stuffed in PVC. After few weeks PVC cover started to tear off and powder started coming out of dumbells

I thought this was 2 dumbells of 4kg each. It's just 2k each. That's me mistake so I'm not blaming amazon but be careful.

The body is cheap pvc plastic. Filled with sand I think. Not bad if you're just starting off with increasing your upper body strength. There's no leakage or damage and I've used it for some exercises which are harder. But rubber covered hexagonal type weights are better I feel. You can rely on them more and use it for push-ups and push-up variant exercises. This one will roll right off or may even break.
