Hobbies discovers the hidden talents in Human Beings Read the details in this blog post

EACH human being has some kind of talent or other that he or she can develop and polish with constant effort. When someone capitalizes on those inner treasures, they brighten up and so does the world around them.
Some children manifest their talents for everyone to see while others have hidden traits that need to be discovered and polished.
A talented person is someone who displays an exceptional capability to present outstanding performances in certain areas of interest. Hobbies can help people polish people's skills. At the same time, they are activities that can relieve stress and anxiety. They are also important for venting out anger and bottled pressure, as well as bringing out one’s hidden talents. They are the healthiest activities one can engage in during leisure hours.
Hobbies are very important to children because they can improve their performance at school and increase their ability to socialize, let alone enhance their self-esteem. Child psychologists cannot stress enough the importance of developing a child’s love for hobbies at an early age.
A hobby is a regular activity that someone practices during spare time. It can help the practitioner nourish skills and learn new things as well as put his mind at ease. Some people have natural talents and can excel in their hobbies while others develop new skills with constant practice. It all depends on having the right environment that can help one get better at his favorite pastime.
In the past, it was difficult for the young people to practice their hobbies because parents did not believe hobbies were important. Moreover, parents would not let their children spend time in practicing a certain hobby lest such activity would have a negative impact on their academic achievement. A young man or woman who was fond of soccer, or poetry, drawing and who might have a natural talent for any of them would not be able develop those skills because their parents would refuse to let them engage in such hobbies.
The situation has changed for the better. Young men and women today are lucky that their parents dedicate much of their time to encourage them to take on new hobbies, develop their skills and even try their best to create the right environment for them in the hope that leisure activities will bring about positive changes in them later on.
If a child shows an interest in photography or drawing, for example, his parents will most probably encourage him or her to develop this hobby. They will buy the child a camera or drawing tools and even enroll him in courses that help hone his skills. Many young men and women have turned their hobbies into profitable business ventures with support from their families.
Similarly, schools encourage students to try different hobbies to discover their hidden talent. Then each student will be helped to nurture and develop that talent.
The education policy states clearly that talented students should be provided with an environment conducive to develop their talents. The first scientific study that was conducted on talented students at academic institutions was carried out by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology in the 1990s. A few years later, the Ministry of Education set up the Department of Talented Students, which was tasked with discovering talented students and creating a proper environment for them so that they can develop those talents.
