This review is from: Little Learning Library: Animal Sounds, Words, Numbers & Colours (Set of 4 Books) (Board book) I am not very thrilled with this one. Most of the pictures are actually there in the bigger Touch and Feel book. So it feels like a bit of a rip off because my kid immediately recognised the illustrations from the bigger book and was fairly indifferent to it afterwards. Furthermore the book on colour is perhaps a bit too subtle for toddlers who need strong basic colours by way of introduction. My 1 year old twins can draw better than some of the drawning and my 5 year old can color better than the scribblings in it. Not happy with the purchase all the books combined there are hardly 15 pages with childish scribblings. Giving 2 stars not 1 because the quality of paper used for the book is excellent but there are a few sharp corners so be careful around babies! |
