This book has helped me find out how ego manifests inside myself. I think each person who reads it will find several forms of ego inside herself. The book is divided into three parts, viz; Aspiration, Success and Failure; since all of us go through each of these phases all the time in various aspects of our lives. Ryan explains how ego affects us in each of these phases and how we can overcome it. This is a book one has to read with utmost honesty with oneself, which will require a lot of courage because, in author's own words, it is not an easy task to go head-to-head with one's ego; to accept first that ego may be there; then to subject it to scrutiny and criticism. With an uncomfortable self-examination with reading of each page of this book you will identify the unknown forms of ego in yourself. It has been a humbling experience for me.

Exceptionally good book ! Touches very simple concepts to keep ego at bay, through real life examples of known and unknown faces. I read this book twice and would encourage every reader, young and old, to practice the concepts. Must read, it's a building block to become a better person.

An excellent reminder that none of us is the center of the universe. A little humility will not make us a doormat but it just might allow us a more powerful future. There's quotable inspiration on every page.
