My PC now boots within 7-8 seconds, even though i have some apps enabled to load during startup. Previously resource consuming apps like antivirus used to take time to load, but now the apps load quickly. A must buy, if you need a fast and smooth running PC Make sure you connect the SSD to a SATA 6.0 (6GBps) port to get the best performance. I have attached images comparing the speeds of my SSD and HDD using the UserBenchmark and CrystalDiskMark softwares. The Samsung software makes it easy to clone existing hard disk irrespective of the size difference between the donor and the receiver drive. One think to note is that you will get 239 GB on usable space and will further be prompted to reserve an additional 10% as a cache drive to improve the life and reliability of your SSD.
