They ask customers for better rating. bribing them additional 6 months warranty. if you give good rating ans send screen shot, you will get addional warranty. The protective cloth is used just in case you are using the massager near head or neck so that the motor could be prevented by the hair. The cable length is good enough for trying it all over body. Haven't used more than 10 minutes. During this time, didn't found any heating problem. The finishing of the product is quite robust and the product looks authentic from all angles.
