I had got this to gift my parents. Just thought of testing it once before returning. I installed the battery, set time and it started, the seconds dial(which is supposedly real silent sweep ..RSS!) stopped in some ten minutes. I changed battery and adjusted time again, this time again it worked for some 5 mins, stopped after that. Initiating a return. Not worth it. However, you will hear the sound of the clock's motor only when there is a pin drop silence in the background. 4 stars for the clock and 5 stars for the packing. I find a lot of reviews where people mentioned that they have received a damaged product (may be in transit). May be due to that, Cloudtail took a look of care in packing this delicate product to hand it over safe to me. Size of the package was huge compared to the clock.
