My PC now boots within 7-8 seconds, even though i have some apps enabled to load during startup. Previously resource consuming apps like antivirus used to take time to load, but now the apps load quickly. A must buy, if you need a fast and smooth running PC Make sure you connect the SSD to a SATA 6.0 (6GBps) port to get the best performance. I have attached images comparing the speeds of my SSD and HDD using the UserBenchmark and CrystalDiskMark softwares. So upgraded to a 500 GB SSD and now have all the space to install all I want, and windows doesn't bother me anymore with a low data warning. A SSD is recommended to boost the speed of your computer, the computer boots faster and apps load faster too. All application and OS is on the SSD which are mostly required. If you already have an SSD installed and you need to upgrade, use Macrium Reflect to make a clone of your smaller SSD to the bigger one.
