The date indicator setting can be a mess for a few people as i read in reviews but i guess people fail to understand it. But works fine for me. It took me 2 days to understand this setting. The date changes automatically on same time when u last set it. Say u set the date at 5pm on 6th dec. Now the date will b updated at 5pm next day. The glass is protected with the extruded steel edges on adjacent sides, so no need to worry about scratches unless u purposely rub it against a sharp corner. The watch is full water proof and i have tested it in bucket (cant say on more depth, but description says water resistant upto 100m ).
