The book is awesomely expressed peppered with a lot of humourous sequences. The author has got a serious knack of writing and plethora of new words were used in the appropriate contexts and in a flow that would help one remember the word. The journey narratives used is blended with the nostalgic memoirs which are in a different format and worth reading. It also teaches how to create the flashback excerpts in a book. This review is from: One Life to Ride: A Motorcycle Journey to the High Himalayas (Paperback) I must say this is not a book, rather a journey full of excitement in the beginning just like an Enfield when kick-started and bliss when our author shares his sight and feelings from the high altitudes of the mighty Himalayas and his passionate relationship with his motorcycle. Note: Page no's. 88 and 214 were really very touching (my personal favorite) |
